In July last year, a message came from Tesla to Samsul. He was asked if he had any interest in Tesla. The recruitment process started after giving the positive answer. It lasted until October in three or four steps. Finally came that auspicious moment. Samsul got the good news in November 2021. He has been nominated as Senior Process Engineer. Not only that, he also had the opportunity to be a proud member of the team that built Tesla's dream project, the electronic car.
Samsul Alam Sarkar's father Md. Sekandar Ali had a small job. Mother Rahima Khatun was a housewife. He lost his father in 2014. He then moved to Windsor in Canada with his mother. At present, he is spending his days happily with his mother, wife Ferdous Jahan Dilruba and two daughters. Her eldest daughter is now studying in Grade-9 and younger daughter in Grade-7.
Samsul thinks the feeling of joining Tesla is unique and extraordinary. "I was excited the whole time," he said. That love of doing good works grew a thousand times more, when I heard the infallible words at the reception, ‘We are the best and we hire the best. All of you are the best people in the world!’
Although he is a diaspora, his mind stays in Bangladesh. He regularly keeps updates of the country. He always wants the youth of Bangladesh do good jobs, to build a career in world-renowned organizations. To that end, he tries to inspire and guide the students of Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology-DUET where he did his engineering graduation.
He expressed his interest in framing an agreement between DUET and Bangladesh Center for Industrial and Technical Education (BITAC) in the near future. He opines, if other universities can be in touch with the organizations in the country or in the world, then why DUET will be left behind!
